A complete example: every row, column and small chamber contains 1–4.
01Choosing a square
Select an empty square, then choose one of the four numbered marks below the board. Keyboard keys 1–4 work too.
02Rows and columns
Each row and each column needs one of every mark: 1, 2, 3 and 4. A repeated mark is outlined in ruby.
03The smaller chambers
The thicker lines divide the board into four two-by-two chambers. Each chamber also needs all four marks.
04Correction and assistance
Clear removes your selected entry. Hint supplies one correct mark. Undo and Reset let you revisit a decision without changing the original clues.
Controls are labelled for touch and keyboard use. Game progress is temporary; a page reload starts again.
